About me
After a complete career in IT and Automotive, I founded the Lean Institute Belgium in 2024. Before that, I was Chief Global Strategy at Toyota Systems (Nagoya, 2020-2023), CIO at Toyota Motor Europe (Brussels, 2005-2020), Global CIO at Hays Logistics (Paris) and CEO of Hays Logistics Deutschland (Düsseldorf) from 2002 to 2005, Global CIO of Europcar (Paris, 2000-2002), Head of IT and Organization at FAW-Volkswagen (Changchun, China, 1998-2000) and Head of IT at Volkswagen Brussels factory (1985-1998).
I hold a PhD degree in IT (Strasbourg University, 2017) and a master in IT and in Mathematics (Brussels Free University 1976-1982).
I love studying and speaking languages (including Chinese and Japanese) and play classical piano and golf.
